Hat's Fabbaluss!

I am feeling a bit "meh" at the moment, despite the sunny, clear blue skies that we are enjoying today. Maybe "meh" is not the right word. GroundHog Day is more apt. *sigh*

What better way to cheer myself than some spend-age? Well, kind of.

I do so love a good voucher. Some may think that a voucher as a gift is a cop out. An unimaginative - possibly - last minute gift option.

But not me. Not I. No siree Bob!

They give me the freedom to make up my own mind about something. To pick something I know I shall like. Take this hat par example.  Like it? I LOVE it!

From the new season at M&S, our eyes crossed from afar and I knew I had to have it. And, what do you know, I just so happened to have my birthday vouchers on me. A, technically, free hat? Even better.

I just need to master getting my hair under it for my commute and it may just become a staple. So might it's grey sister.

Toodle Pips Comrades!

  4. Yay! Love a free hat, or a free anything.

I have to hide the wedding vouchers from the husband or he spends them on gadgets rather than proper household goods ha ha!

  5. No way, I was sure you were going to say it was vintage! Excellent purchase, and what a cheery colour. I am feeling RUBBISH at the moment too, it is probably just because we are bored waiting for our February meet-up ;) x

  7. You look so darn adorable in that hat! The colour looks lovely on you!
I have a pretty similar one in that colour that I bought from a stall at the Thames Festival, but I haven't dared wear it yet!
I think having a bit of a groundhog day-feeling is definitely an acceptable reason for a new hat!
I know how you mean about feeling a bit 'meh'....maybe it's this time of year? I'm just awaiting the summer now!! xx

  15. Yes it is a fabulous hat, I saw it's grey sister the other day in M&S and a few days later my mum mentioned the red one, and here is on your head and not mine, so am therefore very very jealous especially as I have already spent my M&S vouchers-arrgh! Although I do have a nice purple one which is from the previous year but very similar to this one. I like to call it my Tuppence hat (as in Agatha Christie's Tommy and Tuppence stories),although my sister calls it my Edna hat (as in Emmerdale) - how rude, some people have no taste! Enjoy your hat sweetie, you look stunning. Tracy

  28. Hi would you mind stating which blog platform you're using? I'm going to start my own blog soon
but I'm having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something completely unique.
P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
